CDPHE Newborn Screening Lab
OVERVIEW
Build-out of new laboratory space in an existing 87,000 SF one-story building. The scope of work included transforming a portion of the current warehouse space into a new laboratory space serving the Newborn Screening Program. The project involved a high level of MEP scope including the addition of new 8,700 CFM air handling unit, acid vent & waste lines, steam pressure reducing station and HEPA fan filters. The laboratory remained operational throughout construction and the Centerre project team worked closely with CDPHE to determine the appropriate phasing of the project to ensure CDPHE staff was kept safe and the lab remained operational.
