U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
Outpatient Clinic
OVERVIEW
Adaptive re-use of an existing 15,500 sf retail space into medical offices for the Department of Veterans Affairs. The VA programing on this project included but is not limited to mental health, women and men’s exams rooms, bariatric exam rooms, blood draw labs, PACT rooms, tele-health rooms, PT/OT rooms, administration, conference room, breakrooms, locker rooms, restrooms, lobby and pharmacy. The existing entrance was closed off and a new entrance was created. The open, well-lit, and welcoming environment is underscored by high ceilings, and the flow of the medical spaces is designed to easily separate staff areas from patient areas. All new Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems were added to the space with ten (10) new rooftop units and a new electrical and gas service. New security systems were installed to include cameras and card readers. Scope of work includes demolition, concrete, millwork, doors, frames & hardware, glass & glazing, drywall, act, flooring, painting and specialties.
